The Central Human Rights Department works to promote awareness of human rights, ensure protection, and foster a just and equitable environment for students. On occasions such as International Human Rights Day and other relevant observances, the department raises awareness through discussion sessions, seminars, publications, and the creation of online content.

Maintaining cordial relationships with national, international, and local human rights organizations, as well as with lawyers, journalists, and human rights activists, and seeking their guidance when necessary, forms an integral part of the department’s responsibilities.

The department stands by students who face oppression, injustice, harassment, intimidation, or administrative abuse, listens to their grievances, and, when necessary, provides guidance on accessing legal assistance.
