The Central Finance Department shall manage a consolidated financial framework to ensure transparency, discipline, and accountability in the organization’s income and expenditure. The department shall actively implement the principle of “No income without a receipt, no expenditure without a voucher” across all branches throughout the year.
Its primary responsibilities include the use of separate receipt books for branches, thanas, wards, and sub-branches, maintaining stock of receipt books, accurately maintaining account ledgers, and recording every financial transaction. The department shall ensure correct understanding of income and expenditure accounts, promptly rectify any discrepancies, and conduct internal audits at prescribed intervals in each branch.
Further responsibilities include collecting branch-level audit reports, managing savings funds, reconciling receipt books, and ensuring that all financial activities comply with central policies. Through these measures, the Central Finance Department safeguards and sustains the organization’s financial foundation.
